
The museum collection includes manual printing presses dated from the 19th century as well as modern automatic printing presses from the 20th century. The image is completed with the various tools, work - benches, types etc that were used during the printing process.
During the guided tour, the visitors have the opportunity to travel back in time, watching some of these machines printing.
A collection of old, rare books dated from the 16th century can also be found in the museum, along with old Cretan newspapers, maps, bank – notes and old stamps, as the result of the printing process.
